OXFORD CITY STARS SQUAD UPDATE

Oxford City Stars, the home of Ice Hockey in Oxford would like to update our supporters and sponsors on the status of the squad for the 23/24 season.

Firstly, after an impressive 14-year tenure as a senior player for the Oxford City Stars, long-time team member Josh Oliver has made the decision to step away from the club. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Josh for his contributions to the team over the years. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

In another unfortunate turn of events, Club Captain Dax Hedges is currently facing an extended period of recovery following a concussion. At Oxford City Stars, the safety and well-being of our players are of paramount importance. We are committed to providing Dax with the necessary support and resources to ensure his full and proper recovery. At this time, we are unable to specify a definitive timeline for Dax's return to the ice.

Furthermore, James Hounsome is presently on the injured list. We are actively working with James on a weekly basis to facilitate his return to the squad as soon as he is ready. As yet, we have no set timetime to see him return.

As we navigate through these challenges, we are pleased to announce that the Oxford City Stars are actively seeking to bolster the squad. We have some exciting announcements regarding new additions that will be shared in the coming weeks. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our supporters for their continued commitment and unwavering support.
