Forward Jake Williams has re-signed for Oxford City Stars for the 2022/23 campaign.
The 20-year-old who has appeared for the Stars 50 times has signed for his third season at Oxpens.
Williams said: "I'm excited to get started back up with the new team after a frustrating last season. I feel like we all have a lot more to give this year and have a point to prove. We want to show we can climb the table and put on a show for the fans."
Head Coach Simon Anderson said: “Jake signing will give us extra depth down the middle of the ice, which is something the team struggled with last season.
“He is a solid two-way centreman, with a good hockey IQ. Jake is good in the faceoff circle and has a lot of defensive upside in his game. This season I'm looking forward to seeing Jake drive a line and get involved more offensively and I'm sure he will be up to the challenge.
“Jake will certainly provide competition in our forward group as we go with a bigger roster to enable us to keep every player hungry and this will help drive our club forward.”
