Oxford City Stars have further boosted the squad for the new campaign after re-signing Mike Whillock.
The powerful forward, 28, scored 18 goals and made 13 assists in the Stars’ 2019/20 season.
Whillock, 28, is relishing returning to Oxpens for the 2021/22 campaign after the long COVID-19 enforced shutdown.
He said: “I’ve missed Sunday nights at Oxpens and I can’t wait to lace up and go again with the boys. It has been far too long.
“It sounds like we are putting together a very competitive squad this year and Dean comes highly recommended by everyone. I have lots of confidence that we will be a tough team to play against this year.”
Head Coach Dean Birrell said: “Mike is a powerful player, with a high work rate and he puts up good numbers. He is an important part of the squad and we are pleased he has committed to the club again.”
