The 30-year-old Swindon native joins the Stars after an impressive stint with the Swindon Wildcats in the National League. Prior to his time in the National League, Lorris Taylor stood out in the NIHL 1 South, notably with the Bristol Pitbulls, where he averaged over a point per game, including an impressive 18 goals.

His experience, skill set, and goal-scoring ability will undoubtedly bolster our offensive lineup. Lorris has a proven track record, and we believe he will be a valuable asset as we continue our journey through the season."

Lorris Taylor's addition is expected to bring an extra layer of competitiveness to the team. Fans can anticipate Taylor's debut in the Oxford City Stars lineup this weekend, as he gears up to make a strong impact on the ice.

Speaking about his move to Oxford, Taylor shared his enthusiasm, stating, "I am really excited for the opportunity to play for Oxford.Myself and Simon have spoken a few times over the years and I have heard nothing but good things about the club and team from my brother (Assistant Coach Shannon Taylor). After taking a little time out of the game, the opportunity to get back on the ice was exciting and one I couldn't turn down. It will take a few weeks to get back up to full game speed, but I am looking forward to the weekend, playing in front of the great crowd in Oxford."

Oxford City Stars extends a warm welcome to Lorris Taylor and looks forward to seeing him don the Stars' jersey in the upcoming fixtures.
