Oxford City Stars has confirmed a temporary coaching team for the remainder of the season.
A small team of coaches from the junior club will provide Level Two coaching cover for the rest of the Stars’ season under the advisory guidance of the Stars’ Head of Hockey Operations Shane Moore.
Shane who has been an assistant coach at the Stars this season has upped his involvement as a coaching advisor in recent weeks. He was announced as Head of Hockey Operations earlier this week and moved quickly to provide additional support following the departure of Dean Birrell. The support team also includes former Stars’ captain and current head coach of the junior club Darren Elliott.
Shane said: “This short term solution provides the team with vital continuity at this stage of the season and we’re fully focused on finishing the season as strongly as possible. Everyone is fired up for this weekend’s match against MK Thunder and ready to leave everything on the ice in what is a big fixture for us.”
The club can confirm it is in advanced talks to appoint a permanent coach for next season and aims to make an announcement at the end of the season.

What truly defines geometry online is how closely gameplay is tied to rhythm. Levels are built around music, with obstacles placed to match beats, drops, and transitions. Players don’t just see the level—they feel it. Over time, movement becomes instinctive, and success often depends on internalizing the rhythm rather than reacting visually alone.
