Oxford City Stars have swooped to sign an import to bolster the squad’s attacking force.
Jakub Klima has been in training with the Stars and has put pen to paper to join the club for the rest of the season.
Klima, 31, goes straight into squad for this weekend’s double header of fixtures.
The Czech national has a wealth of experience and has impressed with strong points tallies at his former clubs which include Chelmsford Chieftains, Streatham Redskins and London Raiders.
Head Coach Dean Birrell said: “I’ve worked with Jakub before and I’m delighted he has signed for us.
“He will be an asset for us and was really keen to sign. He hasn’t played for a couple of years, so he isn’t match sharp yet, but it will come.
“Jakub is a fluid skater and a good goal scorer.”
