Oxford City Stars’ popular ‘Own and Loan’ scheme is back for the 2020/21 season – with a difference.
Fans and sponsors have the unique opportunity to sponsor the home and away shirts of their favourite player.
Once you purchase your favourite player’s 2020/21 jersey it is loaned back to the club and is worn through the season before being returned to you at the end of the campaign.
And this season, as a new feature, your name will appear on the jersey of the shirt you sponsor via the Own and Loan scheme, to create your own unique piece of history to keep.
We can also confirm the jerseys will be the same design as last season.
Own and Loan is a great way to support the club and secure a special item of Stars’ memorabilia. It could make for a special gift for a friend or family member.
Stars’ director Greig Box Turnbull, said: “Own and Loan is a popular way for supporters and local businesses to back their favourite players, help support the club and get something special as a keep-sake at the end of the season.
“We’ve frozen the prices and added the opportunity for fans to have their name on the jersey of their favourite player. We hope that people get behind this great scheme again this season, as it makes a real difference to the club.”
Each Own and Loan sponsor is also named on the club website. As we announce each new signing their Own and Loan jerseys will be available to sponsor on a first come first served basis. Own and Loan is just £100 per shirt, or the same player’s home and away shirt for £150.
