Shane Moore hailed the Stars’ performance after the 7-2 win over MK Thunder.
The Head of Hockey Operations is overseeing a temporary coaching team until the end of the season. And they got off to a great start at the Stars overcome MK Thunder in front of a big home crowd.
The goals were shared between Josh Florey (2), Matt Lawday, Dax Hedges, Josh Oliver, Griff Eden-Parish and Joe Edwards. While the defence also stepped up and put in a strong shift.
Shane said: “I’m really pleased with how the club, fans and especially the players responded to a turbulent week.
“I put together a game plan and the boys followed it well. It was great to see them all playing with smiles on their faces and enjoying themselves.
“This was a crucial game for us and a fresh start for what will be a tough run for the remainder of the season.
“It’s a real positive start for me personally and a great foundation for us to build on.”
The Stars have an away double header this weekend at Streatham Redhawks and then MK Thunder.
