Oxford City Stars, Oxfordshire's ONLY professional ice hockey team, is thrilled to announce the signing of experienced goaltender Joe Dollin as part of our goaltending trio for the upcoming 2023/2024 season. Dollin's addition to the roster brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success, further strengthening the team's goaltending depth.
Standing at an imposing 6'1 tall, the 36-year-old netminder is no stranger to the ice hockey world. With a prestigious background as a former GB junior player, Dollin has consistently demonstrated his exceptional skills and reignited his career last season with the Oxford Blues University Team. His most recent accolade as the league MVP in university hockey speaks volumes about his continued excellence between the pipes.

I've known Joe for more years than I care to remember, having played some junior hockey with him, and playing together for GB at junior levels. He's not only a naturally gifted goalie, but a fantastic guy that will compliment our dressing room, and help challenge and push our goaltending units. Last time he played this level, he posted an impressive 94% save average, so I have no doubt he will have something to prove entering the lineup this season."
Joe Dollin's extensive experience and leadership qualities will prove invaluable to the Oxford City Stars both on and off the ice. As a seasoned goaltender, his ability to remain calm under pressure and make clutch saves will provide an added layer of confidence to the team's defensive efforts.
