Oxford City Stars Excitedly Welcomes Jan Kostal to the Squad
Oxford City Stars is thrilled to announce the addition of Jan Kostal to the team. The 6-foot, 94-kg forward, originally from the Czech Republic, brings a wealth of experience from his successful career in the top league in his home country and more recently with Swindon Wildcats. Jan will make his debut in the Stars' lineup this weekend as they face off against the Slough Jets on home ice.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Jan Kostal stated, "I'm really happy to join the Oxford City Stars and would like to thank Shannon for this opportunity to put my skates back on. Can't wait to play the game on Sunday and hope the points will stay in Oxford!"
Head Coach Shannon Taylor expressed his excitement about the new signing, saying, "I am, of course, delighted to welcome Jan to the club. Taking on the role, I knew I needed to make an impact, and to be able to bring Jan in as my first signing is something I am personally very proud of.
