Forward Jake Williams has signed for the Oxford City Stars’ 2021/22 campaign.
The teenager played 22 matches for the Stars in the 2019/20 season on a ‘two-way’ from Swindon from Swindon Wildcats 2. He scored nine goals and provided five assists for the Stars in the season that was cut short by the pandemic.
He has now fully signed for the Stars and is looking forward to returning to his hometown club.
Williams said: “I’m looking forward to being back after a good first senior season before the pandemic. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do this season once the team is finally back together.”
Head Coach Dean Birrell said: “Jake is an excellent prospect, who I am told made a good impression at Oxpens.
“This is a big opportunity for him to progress and develop his career at Oxford.”
