Oxford City Stars have appointed Dax Hedges as the club captain.
Hedges said he is “proud and honoured” to captain his hometown club.
Josh Florey and Chris Cooke have been made assistant captains.
The Stars start the league campaign this weekend, following an 18-month gap due to the pandemic.
Hedges said: "I'm very proud and honoured to be asked to be captain of my home club.
“We have a great bunch of guys this season with a great leadership core. It is going to be an exciting season.
"The boys are working hard in training and Dean is putting in some good systems for us to work to. I hope the fans have been resting their voices over the last 18 months to bring us an extra boost this season."
The Stars travel to Streatham Redhawks on Saturday (5.30pm) before returning home on Sunday to face Slough jets (6.15pm).
