he's coming home!

Theo Bundock has re-signed for Oxford City Stars for the new campaign.

The 22-year-old forward came through the Stars’ youth ranks before crossing the Atlantic.

He scored 26 goals for Grey Highland Hawks and nine for Bancroft Rockhounds during his time in Ontario.

Bundock re-signed for the Stars for the season that was cancelled due to the pandemic and is now raring to go.

Fans will remember Bundock, who spent six years in the junior set-up, as being part of the double-winning side in 2017/18, scoring five goals in 11 appearances.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to being back at my home-town club and getting back on the ice. The squad is looking good and I’m excited about what we can do.”

Dean Birrell, Stars’ head coach said: “Theo put up some impressive numbers with a lot of goals and assists while he was abroad.

“He will have benefited from more ice time and the life experience of living abroad and he is coming back to Oxford as a stronger player.

“Theo is young, fast, a goal scorer and a hard worker. I’m looking forward to working with him and he can become a key part of our future.”
