for he's a jolly good fellow!

Oxford City Stars has further boosted the squad with the re-signing of forward Josh 'Jolly' Oliver.

The 28-year-old has been a mainstay of his home-town club for many years and head coach Dean Birrell was pleased to secure his signing.

Oliver was in fine form prior to the lockdown, weighing in with 68 goals in the past three seasons combined.

He said: “I’ve missed ice hockey and can’t wait to return.

“Oxford is the only club for me and I’m proud to represent my home-town. Dean has made a real impression and the squad is taking shape now, we are looking forward to getting started.”

Birrell added: “Josh is a big part of the Stars and we are pleased to have signed him for the season.

“He is a smart player who has strength and offensive flair. I’m looking forward to working with him and will be driving him to make this his biggest season so far.”

Oliver’s own and loan jerseys are available to sponsor on a first come first served basis! Get in touch via info@oxfordcitystars@gmail.com
