Fan Favourite Goal-Machine Returns for Explosive Second Season

Oxfordshire's Premier Ice Hockey Club are thrilled to capture the signature of exciting British forward Bailey Hind-Pitcher for an electrifying second season. After joining the City Stars midway through the season last year, the 19yr old, 6'3 forward had an immediate impact. His remarkable debut campaign returned 14 goals and 9 assists for a total of 23 points in just 13 games for the City Stars. His skilful hands and rapid release shot left fans on the edge of their seats, and BHP is back to ignite the ice once again with their goal-scoring prowess at Oxpens Road!

Known for his talent and ability to find the back of the net, BHP quickly became a favourite at Oxford ice rink, returning 1.9 points per game during his first outings with the club. Fans can expect nothing short of exciting performances, game-changing goals, and awe-inspiring moments as BHP takes to the ice once again this year as a full time City Star! "We are absolutely thrilled to welcome back BHP to the Stars family," said Shane Moore, Head of Hockey Operations. "He joined us in December last year, when his confidence was low, and instantly became a hit on and off the ice. BHP settled in well with the team last year and was a well liked teammate. He came up with some big goals last season for us, and I have been getting chased by our fans to bring him back to Oxpens this coming season. I have a good feeling about him this coming season and fully expect him to continue building on what he has started with us last year. He will be a big part of our offence and I'm excited to see what he has to offer in September. His presence on the ice brings a level of excitement and energy to our team and our fans. BHP has proven to be a key contributor to our success, and we are confident that his return will elevate our performance to even greater heights."

Bailey expressed his enthusiasm about rejoining Oxford for another season, this time as a full time-star. "I couldn't be more excited to be back with the Oxford City Stars. The support and passion of the fans has been incredible, and I can't wait to step on the ice and give it my all once again. We have unfinished business, and together with the team that is being put together, we will make this season even more memorable. Last season I felt like we were able to compete with some of the top end teams, but we didn't have enough depth to push them all the way. This year I really think we can get a good start, and build on what we saw in the 2nd of half of last season. I'm really excited to see what this season brings for us!
