Forward Griff Eden-Parish has signed for Oxford City Stars.
The 19-year-old returns to his hometown club after three seasons playing in Canada
Eden-Parish, a graduate of our junior club, played for Grey Highland Hawks and Bancroft Rockhounds. Fellow Stars’ junior club graduate Theo Bundock played for the same clubs in Canada with Eden-Parish. Both players left Oxford at the same time to develop their game in Canada – and return home stronger players.
Eden-Parish said: “I’m excited to return to my hometown club to take on a new challenge and play in front of a great fanbase.”
Head coach Dean Birrell said: “Griff is another local young lad with great potential. He was raised in our junior programme and now has the benefit of playing in Canada, where he was on the ice regularly.
“He is quick, strong, committed and a team player. We’re looking forward to working with him. Along with our young crop of players he has a fantastic opportunity at the Stars.”
