Oxford City Stars, Oxfordshires only professional ice hockey team have signed 6'5 Power Forward Dylan Hullaby who played last season for the University of Southern Maine, who play in NCAA Division 3.
Dylan Hullaby who stands at an impressive 6'5, brings an impressive skill set and formidable physical presence to the Oxford City Stars. As a power forward, his commanding stature and abilities on the ice make him a force to be reckoned with. At just 21years old, Hullaby's experience at the University of Southern Maine will make him a valuable addition to the team.
"We are thrilled to welcome Dylan Hullaby to the Oxford City Stars," expressed Simon Anderson, Head Coach of the Stars. "'I'm so happy to finally capture Dylan for the Stars. Finding the right import forward who can complement the style I want us to play has been difficult. But after numerous phone conversations, messaging and watching video clips it became evident Dylan ticked every box.
He is an absolute unit, who skates unbelievably well. His compete levels are off the charts, he is a guy who wins puck battles and foot races that he has no right to win, which will undoubtedly make him a fans favourite here at Oxpens Road.
He is an unselfish individual who has a team first mentality and from the video's I have watched on him he has a decent skill set for a big man and compliments that with decent playmaking and a scoring touch.
Dylans style of play will enable him to be really effective in both ends of the rink and I know he is excited to be given this opportunity for his first chance in European Hockey."
