AARON MOODY RE-SIGNS WITH THE OXFORD CITY STARS, BRINGING VERSATILITY AND SCORING ABILITY TO THE TEAM

The Oxford City Stars, the Premier Ice Hockey Team of Oxfordshire, is thrilled to announce the re-signing of Aaron Moody, a dynamic two-way forward who proved to be a vital contributor last season. Moody's return as a full time City Star promises to bring versatility, scoring prowess, and a strong work ethic to the team's lineup for the upcoming season.

Aaron Moody made an immediate impact during his debut season with the Oxford City Stars, showcasing his exceptional skills and ability to generate offense as he split duties between the Bristol Pitbull's in the National League, and the Oxford City Stars in Division 1. As the team's third-highest point scorer last season, Moody's ability to find the back of the net and create scoring opportunities proved invaluable throughout the season. In 23 games, Aaron Moody recorded an impressive 24 points, leaving a lasting impression with his consistency and work rate. His dedication to both ends of the ice, strong defensive play, and offensive contributions make him a valuable asset for the Stars.

Expressing his excitement about re-signing with the Oxford City Stars, Aaron Moody stated, "I am thrilled to continue my journey with the Stars. The organisation, coaching staff, and fans have been incredibly supportive, and I am eager to contribute to the team's success once again. I look forward to building on last season's achievements and helping the Stars reach new heights in the upcoming season. I am pleased to be able to commit to the Stars full time next season. I feel I have a good connection with my team mates at Oxpen's Road and we can achieve big things. Last year splitting my time between Bristol and Oxford was hard, but onceI could concerntrate more at Oxford results started showing. I hope to contribute from the off set and I am looking forward to the season ahead."

Head Coach Simon Anderson praised Moody's abilities, stating, "I'm excited to have Aaron choose to re sign with us here in Oxford for next season. Last season he came in with a big expectation on a 2 way from Bristol and I felt he had a really good season with us and as we build for next season it became clear we needed to try to bring Aaron back for a number of reasons.

He's a guy who can play and contribute in all areas of the game, particularly in special teams situations where last season he was on our top powerplay unit for the most part and one of my first go to guys on the Penalty Kill, where I feel he really excels.

He also brings the ability to really help our secondary scoring and proved that scoring some real clutch goals last season. It is my expectation that Aaron can really improve his game here in Oxford, as well as help us as a team push up the table. Aaron's versatility and scoring ability make him an essential piece of our lineup. We are delighted to have him back and expect him to play a significant role in our pursuit of success this season."

Aaron Moody's re-signing reinforces the Stars' commitment to retaining talented players who have demonstrated their ability to contribute to the team's success. His scoring, two-way play, and leadership qualities make him an integral part of the Stars' roster. With Moody back in the lineup, the Oxford City Stars are poised to build upon their previous achievements and aim to compete in the top half of the table this season.
